Pumpkin season is upon us, and it's hard to believe that fall is officially here! Seeing the "orange" appear in the patch, the leaves changing colors and the cooler temperatures confirms that it is indeed autumn!
We are halfway through October already, which is amazing! Those of you that have already visited our patch, we are so glad that you have taken the time to come out and take part in our fall activities! Those of you that are looking forward to visiting us, or are looking to maybe coming out, we still have lots to offer! Visit us not only for those seasonal pumpkins, but also for yummy fresh baked goods, crafty items and autumn decor! We look forward to seeing you!
Other happenings around our farm, our garden is coming to a close as far as summer crops go. We still have those cooler weather/fall crops growing and we are harvesting every couple of days. If you visit our Country Gift and Bake Shop at the pumpkin patch, we most likely will have salad mix, kale greens, carrots, beets and radishes available for purchase! If you would like to purchase those yummy veggies, you can always call ahead to make sure we have it available!
Last but not least, in our last blog post, we mentioned that our goat, Sabrina was pregnant...well, on September 20th, she gave birth to baby boy goat twins! One is totally black with tiny ears and the other is brown with a couple spots of white on his feet with long ears! They are both so adorable! Sabrina adjusted well to them and took care of them right away. They are both little balls of energy and love jumping around, playing together! They are a joy to watch! When you come visit our pumpkin patch, be sure to take a peek at our little "Blackie" and "Mocha"!
We will close this post with a collage of recent photos. Have a great autumn!
