Answer: In the Kitchen
Well, I'm in one of my favorite places in our house. The place where all the food is made and the fun is happening. Welcome to...
THE KITCHEN

What's in the Kitchen?
My mom, along with my sisters, are the ones who make the pies and put it in our bellies. Our pumpkin, pecan, and cherry pies are fantastic. Add a little whipped cream and you have  a full belly. The kitchen is where we get all our energy, especially from the sugar, GLOROIUS! Sorry, I have this thing with food. I'll be showing you what is made in the kitchen and hopefully you won't be hungry or drooling  by the time we're done.

What's Made in the Kitchen?
Let me try to get you out of this section as soon as possible because you will probably be starving by the time we're done.  Let's do this orderly:
  1. Pies
  2. Muffins
  3. Cookies
  4. Bread and Rolls
  5. Carmel Corn

1. Pies. We have pumpkin pie, cherry crumble pie, and pecan pie;  and, of course, I'm a fan of each kind!
Pumpkin pie: As I said in the first post, we grow the pumpkins, cook them down, and scrape the pumpkin out of the shell.   Next we add some ingredients, put it in the pie crust,  give it a heat wave and you have a pumpkin pie. (Just to let you know, do not use  my reference to make a pumpkin pie.)
Cherry crumble pie: Obviously by the name you know what it is, but never was a type of food more tasty and...um...something else that means delicious or awesome or fantastic.
Pecan Pie. This pie is nuts, literally. It's nuts on top of a sugary substance. It's  a delicious pie with an awesome taste.

2. Muffins. We bake two kinds of muffins, both  from fresh pumpkin.  Pumpkin muffins are light in texture with a crumb topping.  The second kind,  pumpkin chocolate chip muffins are similar to our pumpkin chocolate chip bread. These muffins are awesome for breakfast and lunch and dinner and snack and midnight snack and...well, you get the picture.  They are AWESOME!!!!!!!! Have a chocolate chip muffin and add some milk! It's like the greatest thing you have ever had. Ohh, I smell a muffin...and ohhh...rabbit trail!!!!

3.  Cookies  I believe I have shown you a  picture of these delicious cookies, but let me indulge for a moment.  I repeat they are sugar cookies so they are sweet like...um...sugar.  They also have icing on the top that is orange and green, like the pumpkin.  We sell these in a package of two.  You may want to  buy a bag for yourself instead of sharing!  They are soooo good!  The little visitors to our patch love these the best.

4. Bread and Rolls  If you like peanut butter and jelly, you'll like the white bread we have to offer.  Homemade white bread is a treat no matter what meal you have it with.  French toast for breakfast, PBJ for lunch, served as a side with dinner, or your bedtime snack!  Our dinner rolls are great with soup on these cool autumn evenings too!
We also make pumpkin bread and pumpkin chocolate chip bread.    Both of these breads are made from our farm grown pie pumpkins and are delicious  as dessert or breakfast!  Believe me, I know!

5. Carmel Corn  It's popcorn but better. Homemade right here in our kitchen!  Crispy, crunchy, sweet!  Popcorn can be so different when you add carmel!  When you come over, be ready to pick up some carmel corn!  What is autumn without carmel!

Wrap It UP!
Well, I know everybody likes food, so it has to be so sad to see this post end. You want to come right through the screen into the pictures and eat all that pie and cookies and other fun stuff. Well, good news,  just come on out to the patch and see some of the stuff I'm talking about. And if you've already been out, come out again!  I'll be out here waiting for you!

Sincerely,
                       Daniel A. Earnest
